Meet the team
I’m Kristen Proby, the creator and publisher of Lady Boss Press, and I’m excited that you’re here.
I’m a New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author of over forty novels since 2012. I write contemporary romance and paranormal romance. I bring seven years of publishing experience, in both the self-publishing and traditional publishing sectors. That means I’m a long-time hybrid author. I also work closely with 1001 Dark Nights, making 2019 my fifth year publishing with that incredible company.
Lori Francis dedicates her days to some of her favorite authors working as an administrative assistant. Prior to becoming a mom, she worked in the Insurance industry as an executive assistant and helped keep her mom’s small business organized. She is an avid reader who is obsessed with a fabulous love story and her kindle is never far away. Lori is currently living her own happily ever after in St Louis, MO with her husband, four children, and various pets.

Hi friend, I am Rachel owner and creative director of TOWC. I am a native of rural Ohio (Ashland), a former wedding planner, web designer, and brand stylist with 20 years of experience in the wedding and marketing industries.
I love making pretty things and have an eye for design. When I'm not working you will find me hiking, paddle boarding, skiing, or getting caught up on my Netflix queue with my two kiddos and pup.
I have never met a taco I didn't like, read the entire Steve Jobs biography in a weekend, believe that coffee is best served over ice and wine, red, over a table full of food with friends and family. I also own every Marvel movie and watch the Office on a loop.
Pam has a long-standing committed relationship with books. She owns and operates The Book Avenue book blog where she offers promotional support and reviews for the authors she loves.
Pam started dabbling in graphic work while assisting Kristen Proby with her social media accounts. Since then she has grown her skills, while expanding her social media footprint. Her graphic work has now expanded to Lady Boss Press and the authors they publish.
Nina Grinstead is a lover of all things Romance and Happily Ever Afters. An avid fan of the Contemporary and New Adult genres, Nina has been blogging and reviewing books since June 2012. With a degree in PR and advertising, she has used her past corporate and nonprofit experience in promoting authors whether indie or traditionally published and spreading the word about their books on all forms of social media.
Nina has been a publicist with Social Butterfly PR since December 2015 and is a true southern girl, growing up in Texas and currently living in Georgia with her handsome husband, two beautiful children and three crazy rescue dogs.
I wear a lot of hats in this crazy, beautiful life. I'm a mother, first and foremost, to two lively children and I'm a wife to a wonderfully supportive husband. I'm also a daughter, a sister, a crazy friend, a photographer, and a designer.
When I'm not designing, playing referee, or driving my kids to sports, you'll find me at the ball field, sitting in the stands, screaming and yelling for my ball lovin' children!
I started designing book covers in 2012 after making silly fun teasers for some of my favorite books. The trend caught on, shortly after I was asked to design my first cover. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever thing it would evolve into my own full-time business.
I've met so many incredible people in all of my endeavors and as crazy as my life may be, I can't imagine doing anything else. Here's to the future and what it holds.
Margarita Coale is a sole practitioner in Dallas, focused exclusively on the representation of authors, and romance writers in particular. A love of romance novels is one of the few constants in her well-traveled, adventurous life. Born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, she attended law school at the University of Texas (got a couple of other degrees along the way), worked for several years at the white-shoe New York firm representing Enron in its epic bankruptcy filing, and then taught procedure and international law at the Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth. Her current practice grew out of her business-law work and has expanded to include writers worldwide on a host of commercial and intellectual property issues. “Mom” to four children (and wife to one more), she also leads the elementary school parent-teacher group and coordinates volunteers for the junior high and high school. She can often be heard speaking to her clients about their universes in hopes of mystical babies and hopes in 2020 to be able to rock climbing a mountain in Colorado.
